Abby Holland, LCPC
Abby Holland, LCPC, is a licensed clinical mental health counselor who grew up in Columbia, Maryland.
Abby graduated from Coastal Carolina University Summa Cum Laude in 2013 with a degree in psychology, and then continued her education, earning a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health
Counseling from McDaniel College in 2020. Abby has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient mental health, inpatient addictions treatment, and residential mental health and addictions facilities.
She has experience working with clients with depression, anxiety, addiction recovery, stress management, gender and sexuality concerns, and teen issues.
Abby uses an eclectic approach to counseling rooted in a cognitive behavioral therapy framework, individualizing treatment based on the needs of each person. She utilizes motivational interviewing,person-centered counseling, and a strengths-based approach to help every person feel strong, adaptive, and resilient. Abby creates a safe, nurturing, and accepting space to strengthen mental, social, and emotional wellness, and to assist one in navigating life’s challenges.
